The 72nd Lindau Meeting is fully underway. The third day of #LINO23 was packed with exciting sessions and opportunities for informal exchange: kicked-off by two partner breakfasts, the programme continued with lectures and Agora Talks by Nobel Laureates. A special highlight was our panel discussion on „Artificial Intelligence and Medicine“ in the afternoon. Laureate Lunches and Open Exchange sessions provided another occasion for personal dialogue among Nobel Laureates and Young Scientists. Finally, the day is rounded off by the traditional Grill & Chill.

Young Scientists sure had a great time exchanging with Nobel Laureate Stefan W. Hell after his lecture on „Molecular-Scale Resolution and Dynamics in Fluorescence Microscopy.“

Fact of the Day

Nobel Laureate Erwin Neher continued our Mission Education today by sharing insights on the role of ion channels with high school students. Laureates @ School is a cross-border format for students interested in science in the Lake Constance region.

Today’s Highlight Session

… showcases the Panel Discussion on „Artificial Intelligence and Medicine“ with the Nobel Laureates Aaron Ciechanover, Avram Hershko and Michael Levitt, joined by the 2018 ACM Prize Laureate Shwetak Patel as well as the Young Scientists Ang Cui and Aderonke Sakpere.
