Daily Recap – Thursday, 29 June 2023

Today was the last day of #LINO23 in the meeting venue Inselhalle, as we will head off to Mainau Island tomorrow, where we celebrate the final day of this eventful week. After two intriguing Agora Talks, the fifth day continued with four lectures of the Laureates. Subsequently, some of the Young Scientists went to Laureate Lunches, followed by more opportunities for personal encounters in the Open Exchange sessions and Science Walks. In the afternoon, we had three workshops – two on the Lindau Guidelines and the other one on the topic of Climate Change. The social programme for the night is the Bavarian Evening. We are looking forward to seeing many participants in their traditional attires.

Time flies when it’s the best week of the year: Tomorrow will already mark the final day of the 72nd Nobel Laureate Meeting. Traditionally spent on Mainau Island, the Young Scientists can look forward to the following programme:

  • 7.45–10.30: Baden-Württemberg Boat Trip to Mainau Island
  • 11.00–12.30: Panel Discussion: Climate Change and Implications on Health
  • 12.30–13.00: Closing Ceremony
  • 13.00–16.00: Science Picnic
  • 16.30–19.00: Baden-Württemberg Boat Trip to Lindau
