The Lennart Bernadotte Medal

is the highest honour of the Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings. Count Lennart Bernadotte af Wisborg, together with the Lindau physicians Franz Karl Hein and Gustav Wilhelm Parade, was the spiritus rector and thus one of the three founding fathers of the Lindau Meetings.

2010 Professor Roman Herzog

First president of the Federal Republic of Germany to visit the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings.
