Lindau Economics Meeting on Current Global Issues
More Than 20 Laureates, Over 300 Young Scientists, and Guests Such as Mario Draghi to Discuss Economic Policy Against the Backdrop of Current Global Developments
This year’s 8th Lindau Nobel Meeting in Economic Sciences will kick off in a manner true to its mission: bring the generations together and discuss the pressing questions of our time in depth and based on science. For the opening panel on “Research and Innovation in a Tripolar World”, Nobel Laureates will be joined by political and industry leaders from the three globally dominant regions, such as Mario Draghi, who will contribute to the debate based on his recent report on the future of European competitiveness.
Around 20 Economics Laureates and several hundred Young Scientists representing 60 countries will be part of the audience at Lindau’s Inselhalle. Today’s invitation to the Young Scientists marks the culmination of a multi-stage selection process in cooperation with a global network of almost 100 Academic Partners. This sets the stage for the renowned gathering of the brightest scientific minds from the field of economics.
