Highlights included a special session in cooperation with the Heidelberg Laureate Forum, a panel discussion on AI, and further Next Gen Science Sessions connecting emerging researchers with fresh ideas and perspectives. Lindau Meetings Historical First’s
First Alumnus to Return as a Laureate: Bert Sakmann
In 1963, Bert Sakmann attended Lindau as a Young Scientist. In 1991, he returned as a Nobel Laureate. Nothing captures the spirit of Lindau quite like a participant becoming part of Nobel history.
Session of the Day
The dilemma of artificial intelligence in the modern world extends far beyond the replacement of human jobs. In this panel discussion, Nobel Laureates John M. Jumper, William D.
