Somnath Biswas

#LINO19 young scientist Somnath Biswas is a graduate student at the Ohio State University, pursuing his PhD in Physical Chemistry in the laboratory of Professor L. Robert Baker. He is currently a presidential fellow at the Ohio State and member of the American Chemical Society. His research addresses challenges of converting and storing solar energy and focuses on watching electrons move in solar materials to have a deeper understanding of the material chemistry that controls energy-conversion efficiency. In his spare time, Somnath enjoys playing the Indian classical percussion instrument Tabla.
