Final day at Lindau Inselhalle: In addition to the always inspiring Lectures by the Laureates in Economic Sciences, David Beasley gave a passionate speech on the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to the World Food Programme. Young Scientists shared their research, engaged in lively discussions – and all participants ended the day with a joyful celebration in true Bavarian style.

In 2024, John Jumper became the youngest Nobel Laureate in Chemistry in the past 70 years. At #LINO25 in 2025, he took the stage in Lindau to share insights into solving the long-standing challenge of protein folding.

Albert Schweitzer in Lindau
A short documentary film commemorates the 70th anniversary of the first visit of a Peace Nobel Laureate to a Lindau Meeting. Albert Schweitzer’s visit in 1954 not only marked a new epoch for the Meetings but also had a profound impact on some of the 20th-century’s leading physicists that were assembled in Lindau.
