We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information, except for the exceptions described below. If you apply for participation, your NAPERS profile data will also be accessible to the members of the scientific review panel, who will evaluate your application and decide about your participation. The NAPERS profile also contains a dedicated section called “Public Directory” or “Public Directory Data”. Any data entered here may be published in connection to the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, for example in participant directories, in the programme, in the meeting report, or in other publications. This also includes your photo. Furthermore, data from the NAPERS profile may be shared with partners and supporters of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, for example to determine providers of funding for your participation or to allocate you to specific events.
Furthermore, data from the NAPERS profile may be shared with journalists or media production companies to identify possible candidates for communication activities; accordingly, you may then be contacted by these parties. Furthermore, for all accepted participants, “Public Directory” data will be automatically transferred to the “Alumni Directory”. Data which you provide yourself in the “Alumni Directory” is accessible to all users of the “Alumni Directory”, which includes, but is not limited to, other alumni, academic partners, and supporters of the meetings.
