The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings. An Introduction.
The film gives an overview over the Meetings of Nobel Laureates at Lake Constance paying particular attention to the numerous personal interactions between Nobel Laureates and young researchers.
The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings are a globalle recognised forum for the transfer of knowledge between Laureates and young researchers. What began in 1951 has developed into a globally orientated conference for the best young talents of international science. They are only made possible by honorary work and thanks to the support received from companies, associations and private petrons on the one hand, and by national and state institutions, and international organisations on the other.
Special thanks for this film go to: Dr. Heinrich Walter (Elstnertainment GmbH), Vera Botterbuch (Bayerischer Rundfunk), the European Broadcasting Union, Prof Dr. Jürgen Uhlenbusch and Dr. Leonore Uhlenbusch.
