Using the password-combination sent to you, you can log into the database of the Committee. After that you will enter your main page with links to the modules "Who is Who" and "Nominated candidates". In "Who is Who", you will see the profiles of the participants invited to the meeting once the selection process is over. In "Nominated candidates" you see the candidate(s) you have nominated for the next meeting. In this module you can also nominate new candidates.
The following three steps show how you can nominate a candidate for the next Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting:
Step 1: Nominate a new candidate Click on the module-link "Nominated candidates". On the following page you see the candidates you have already nominated for the next meeting. If you want to nominate a new candidate, click on the link "Nominate your candidate(s)".
Step 2: Fill in your data Fill in the following form completely. Make sure that you enter the correct email address of the candidate you want to nominate, because the candidate will be notified of his nomination via email to this address. You can enter your recommendation either in plaintext or by uploading a recommendation letter. Note that you cannot modify the candidate’s information once the invitation email has been sent, although the candidate can. Click "save" when you are finished entering your data.
Step 3: Send the nomination e-mail to the nominee On the following page you see the nominee's profile with the data you already entered. It is important that you verify the e-mail address of your nominee. When you are sure that the address is correct, you should send the nomination e-mail by clicking on the link "Send nomination e-mail to this nominee now". The email will be sent and the red text will disappear. In case you want to correct the e-mail address, you may click the link ‘‘change e-mail address’’ and change it.
Now you are done and can either log out or return to "Nomination(s)" and nominate a new candidate.
