How is the application procedure for Young Researchers organised?

Young researchers from more than 60 countries attend any one Lindau Meeting. As a young researcher you have to be nominated on the initiative of one of our international Academic Partners (see list here).  Please note, that direct applications by young researchers at the Lindau executive secretary are not possible.

Young researchers selected by the Academic Partners are nominated by these partner institutions via an internet database. They have to complete their personal profile thereafter (contact details, academic track record, motivation, ...). 

As a third step, the scientific review panel of the Council will evaluate all profiles and announce the names of participants some 4 months before the meeting takes place. The announcement will be made through the database, please reframe from inquiring at the executive secretariat.

Please understand that due to the enormous interest, the meeting enjoys worldwide, the Council has to deny quite a large number of nominees.
