How to get to the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings on Lake Constance...

… by plane
  
Lufthansa - the Official Carrier of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings – is offering daily non-stop service from Frankfurt to Friedrichshafen Airport which is a 30 minute cab ride away from Lindau. Munich Airport, Lufthansa´s second hub in Germany for international flights, is about 180 km away from Lindau. There is an 80 km distance from Zürich Airport to Lindau. Train signs on the map bring you right to the websites of Austrian, German and Swiss railway companies to view schedules and book tickets online. The train station in Lindau is located right on the island. From there it is a 15 minute walk to the Inselhalle where the meeting takes place.

… by car

 

If you are arriving by car, please have in mind that during the summer there is a lot of traffic on the island and parking lots are rare. The following directions might help you: in Germany use the Autobahn “A96” (direction: Lindau), in Austria the “A14” (direction Bregenz/Lindau) and in Switzerland highway “N1” (via Winterthur/ St. Gallen) or “N13” (via Liechtenstein).
